Mrs. Kalayaan Visayas 2012

Mary Ann Sanagustin is the Mrs. Kalayaan Visayas in the first ever Mrs. Kalayaan contest in the Philippine Independence celebrations in New York, now on its 23rd year. The contest was introduced as a commemorative event to mark the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Philippine Independence Day Council, Inc. (PIDCI). Mary Ann is a very active community leader from Union, New Jersey.

She is a Marketing Representative for Union Anesthesia Associates and Pain Management.

Mary Ann is an immigrant from Tacloban City, Leyte in the Philippines. She is married to Vicente Sanagustin of Iloilo City. They have four children: Matthew, Marvee (the 2011 Diwa ng Kalayaan) Monica and Melissa.

She graduated from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
