Grand Marshal Gala

Grand Marshal Gala is an annual formal event conducted by PIDCI and attended by the Filipino-American community to Honor the year's Grand Marshal of the Philippine Independence Day Parade.

Mrs. Kalayaan

The Mrs. Kalayaan (Mrs. Independence) Coronation Pageant and Gala is a commemorative event to mark the tenth (10th) anniversary celebration of the incorporation of PIDCI Council.

Diwa Ng Kalayaan Selection, Coronation Pageant & Gala

The Diwa ng Kalayaan (Spirit of Independence) beauty contest is a mainstay event of the annual commemoration having been part of it for 21 long years. It is now the number one beauty, brains and talent contest among 16-to-25-year-old dalagang Filipina (Filipino bachelorettes) in the Northeastern Unites States Filipino and Filipino-American community, if not the entire North America. The Grand Prize for this contest is a round trip airline ticket to the Philippines.

Street Fair

It's a Filipino Food Festival and a Mini-Expo. On the East side of the Avenue, two blocks of sumptuous Filipino food: the distinctive, ubiquitous mouth-watering Filipino barbeque, the cool cooling truly Filipino Halo-Halo (Mix-Mix); and on the West side of the Avenue, straddling beautiful Madison Square Park, a two-block Mini-Expo of goods, merchandise, services and corporate booths aplenty.

Independence Day Parade

The annual Independence Day Parade is annual parade of Philippine culture spearheaded by the Grand Marshal, Filipino community leaders, Philippine Government officials, New York City Government officials, honored guests, with contingents of marchers from Fil-Am associations, Marching Bands, floats, open cars, and many others.

Cultural Festival On The Open Stage

This event showcases Filipino and Filipino-American talents, consisting of performing artists, singers, dancers, soloists, groups, celebrities.

Independence Ball

The Ball is the culminating event of the 114th Anniversary of the Declaration of Philippine Independence.
